I am looking for cheap 10-5$ windows vps specs 8 gb ram disk doesn't matter 1 gbps speed cpu as better possible ddos protection I already found ready4.hosting serverdiscounter netcup contabo wishosting host4fun but every of them has a little difference which doesn't make them best options for example
- wishosting - doesn't have 1gbps
- serverdiscounter - cpu wtf
- host4fun - does not have ddos protected 8gb
- ready4.hosting - has ddos protection for +6€
- contabo - doesn't have 1gbps also bad experience from them as gigainternational
- netcup doesn't offer windows I want europe location! if possible thanks!!!

[Solved] No bootable device after reboot
Hello Everyone,
I was wondering if you could possibly nudge me in the right direction about small problem I have encountered.
I have installed Windows Server 2016 on my OVH VPS 3 2016.
Everything went fine, I have previously slipstreamed Virtio drivers into it.
I will describe the procedure I used:
- Choosing reinstall my VPS, then restart into Rescue mode.
- Using QEMU to partition the VPS's SSD, load the iso and preform the install on the drive.
- After the installation is performed I make sure in while still in linux that System has been deployed on partitions, which is indeed the case.
- I then select Reboot from my VPS panel to boot from HDD.
- Reboot is successful and I can log in as well as operate from Windows.
The problem:
I can restart from within Windows to the heart's desire, however, when I select Reboot from VPS console to reboot the VPS, the BIOS complains that No bootable device can be found. While restarting into Rescue mode I am still able to confirm all the system partitions are still there and nothing has changed.
Do you have any clues what may be causing this? The only way to fix it is to go through the entire procedure again and pray that there will be no need to Restart the VPS from the Owner's Panel. Like I mentioned before restarting from within windows itself does not cause this problem.

What would an ideal (but also realistic!) plan look like for you? Yes yes, I am expecting a string of replies to this post saying $7 for some giant Dual Xeon E5v4 with 1TB RAM and 20TB of SSDs etc.... But that aside, realistically, what are people really after in this region?
Storage Servers?
Good China connectivity?
Cheap bandwidth (without China)?
High RAM?
Very generic, I know. Just looking for some ideas as we are pre-configuring a couple dozen machines, and am curious about the ideal spec for these machines.

Briehost hosting review & experience

I created this discussion to get to know how good or bad briehost.com is in area of VPS hosting. I have tried one of their cheapest service and I don't really recommend it. To be fair, I hope anyone who have experience with them to post/comment here either good or bad to raise awareness.
Briehost is using Ipv6 and made a LE OpenVZ 64 - IPv6 (64mb ram and 50Gb bandwith) vps. As the plan implied, you won't have Ipv4 and you need to have an Ipv6 to be able to manage your VPS since their browser base SSH(java/applet) is not working since browser does not allow applet to run.
I tried this because I'm really wanted to try having a website running on Ipv6 only. I don't have Ipv6 at home/work and they don't have any solution for that. I was able to connect to it using my Vultr VPS since it has Ipv6.
After connecting it. I was able to install nginx & php5-fpm. Take note only ubuntu runs on this container.
To make visitor with Ipv4 access this Ipv6 website I use cloudflare as proxy and it was a success. I notice that during the upgrading and installing software I get disconnected from time to time.
I tried accessing the website and it was working fine. After a few minutes when I open it I got 502/503 response from Cloudflare saying my host is unreachable and after a few reload it was accessible again.
It seems like something fishy with the connection so I use a tool to monitor the website every minute and yes I get a lot of failed response. I open tickets to them reporting this. At first they were answering but as the day goes buy I did not hear any from them.
So I made this discussion to check if there are people tried their service both VPS and Dedicated server.
So anyone. How do you find their hosting? Is it good or worst?

last time, anybody; live with problem (ticket and another..) oneprovider? we live ipmi problem in 2 days and they shutdown server for this reason for repair. i'm request change my disk to another server and they not answer it. we really lose money, time and performance.
and today; i'm try to access my account, but not access to my account and web page down. i think, oneprovider live really big problem.

Looking for a dedi in EU
Hello, I am looking for a dedicated server in Europe (France, Germany, United Kingdom), I don't really have any price range for now, but I need something with a good price, no (or low) setup fees would be preferred.
Specifications:
CPU: Quad-Core, 4x 3.4 GHz (or something similar)
RAM: 32 GB DDR3
HDD: 2x 3TB HDD or 2x 500 GB SSD
Bandwidth: 10 TB @ 1 Gbps - more bandwidth is better.
IP: /27 (32) IPv4 - not sure about IPv6 but it'll be good if it has it.
Budget is not decided yet, I'll decide based on offers, but cheaper is better, billing method is monthly.

Need Help, Configure Mailgun on cPanel/WHM
I have a vps with WHM / cPanel.
